About Brachyplatys punctipes
This observation is filed as Brachyplatys punctipes. The identification is not precise enough for species-level claims, so details should be checked against the photographs. True bugs are hemipterans with piercing-and-sucking mouthparts used to take in plant fluids or, in predatory species, animal prey.
